A MENTAL health charity in Inverclyde has been supported by a donation of £1,000 from the Amazon team in Gourock.
Man On! Inverclyde specialises in suicide prevention and mental health for adults and young adults.
The charity provides wellbeing plans for the Inverclyde community, including peer support sessions, mental health podcasts, therapeutic art sessions, ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions and many more activities to support those in need.
The donation from Amazon will be used to provide people with vital support and a sense of belonging and community in their time of need.
Lorna Sharples, site leader at Amazon in Gourock, said: “It is a pleasure to make this donation to Man On! Inverclyde. We are grateful to the Man On! team for continuing to provide strong support for those in Inverclyde who need it most.”
Sam Magee, mental health and wellbeing co-ordinator from Man On! Inverclyde, said: “On behalf of myself and the team, I want to say thank you to Amazon in Gourock for this support.
“We aim to provide information about looking after mental health for the people of Inverclyde and with donations like this, we can continue to make that happen.”
