A 52-YEAR-old man was arrested and charged following a “significant” drugs recovery in Port Glasgow today.
Officers from the Inverclyde Priority Policing Team, with the assistance of a police dog, carried out a search of a property on Staffa Avenue.
Heroin with a street value of £12,500 was recovered.
Sergeant Gary Arthur said: “This was a significant recovery that has been kept from our streets.
“Drugs are a blight on our community, and we remain committed to disrupting their supply.
