Inverclyde Now Logo PLAN To Turn Empty Greenock Building Into Scout Hall

21 July, 2020 | Local, Planning

A SCOUT group wants to convert a disused residential care building in Greenock into its new base.

The 32nd Greenock and District Group has applied to change the use of premises in Bank Street.

The building was formerly Caladh House, a residential unit for adults with learning disabilities.

The Scout group has a hall in nearby Mearns Street and has used local schools for its meetings.

The proposal is pending consideration by Inverclyde Council planners.
