Inverclyde Now Logo PLAN To Make Short-Stay Accommodation On Waterfront Into Hotel

21 July, 2020 | Local, Planning

INVERCLYDE planning officials are being asked to let short-stay accommodation on Greenock’s Waterfront be turned into a hotel.

The proposal involves four of the blocks at the premises beside West College Scotland’s Waterfront campus, next to the Clyde at Custom Hosue Way.

A change-of-use application has been submitted by Waterfront Projects Greenock Ltd which has an address in Manchester.

The hotel would have 86 bedrooms. The buildings were originally built as student accommodation.

The proposal is pending assessment by council planners.
