PostHeaderIcon REGENERATION Projects Attracting Interest

COMPANIES are showing interest in developments being undertaken by regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde.

Works to refurbish and upgrade the iconic Custom House in Greenock are nearing completion and construction of industrial units at Kelburn, Port Glasgow is continuing.

Planning officials have given Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions permission to form three meeting rooms and one executive office at the Custom House building.

Riverside Inverclyde’s interim chairman, Councillor David Wilson, said: “By the end of the year, Riverside Inverclyde will have completed all works to the east wing of the Custom House and already that wing has been fully pre-let. Not only that, but we already have three other companies, none of which are from Inverclyde, who have informed us of their interest in the west wing once works are undertaken there.”

He added: “We have high hopes for the speculative industrial units Riverside Inverclyde is building at Kelburn industrial estate, with one of the buildings already attracting interest from an out-of-town company keen to move to Inverclyde and be part of the area’s regeneration. These buildings will also be completed by the end of this year.”
