ALL Night Search For Missing Dogs -- One Found Snared
FRANTIC pet owners searched countryside all night for missing dogs – and found one of them trapped in a poacher’s deer snare. One pet is still missing.
A Greenock woman was walking 12-year-old mongrel Snoopy, pictured, on the rough at Whinhill Golf Course, Greenock, on Friday lunchtime when he ran off and didn’t return.
She was unable to locate him and went back in the evening to look again, this time with her Red Setter which also ran off and didn’t return.
Fiona called in Allison Black of Petsearch and they looked all night for the pets. The red setter was found in a snare but wasn’t seriously injured.
Snoopy, who is black and tan with a white bib, is still missing and was possibly spotted in the Renton Road area of Greenock on Saturday.
Anyone who sees him should call 07922 007900.
