BREAK-In At Golf Course -- A QUANTITY of tools, including petrol strimmers, was stolen from the greenkeeper’s hut at Gourock Golf Course. Entry was forced to the hut overnight from Friday into Saturday. Any witnesses are urged to call police on 01475 492500.
WOMAN Arrested For Alleged Assault -- A 43-YEAR-old woman was arrested for alleged assault, breach of the peace and police assault in Roxburgh Street, Greenock, on Friday afternoon, She is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
SECOND Motorbike Theft – POLICE are warning householders to make sure property in gardens and garages is secure after the theft of another motorbike in Gourock. The trail bike was taken from the garden of a property in Tower Drive overnight from Wednesday in to Thursday. As earlier reported, a Yamaha motorbike was stolen from a garage broken into in Albert Road, Gourock, early on Thursday. Any witnesses are urged to call police on 01475 492500.
