VICTIM In Hospital After Serious Assault

POLICE are investigating after a 21-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Greenock.
The attack is believed to have happened in the area of Shandon Place and Clynder Road between 6.30 and 7pm on Saturday.
The victim was detained in hospital overnight. Detectives are still waiting for an update on his injuries
