WATERLOO Road Star Will Be Guest At Pool Party
GOUROCK Outdoor Pool are holding a back-to-school party this weekend with a special guest appearance from a Waterloo Road star.
Jason Done, who plays teacher Tom Clarkson in the BBC series, will be at the event which takes place on Sunday (12 August) from 3 to 4.30pm.
Inverclyde Leisure is inviting local children to attend the fun and action-packed afternoon.
A giant duel run pool inflatable will be available for children to battle it out in a head-to-head race, and there will be games and prize.
Pool manager Marc McFarlane said: "As Inverclyde children return to school next week we decided to organise an event to celebrate the end of summer holidays and the start of a new school year.
“Throughout the summer, hundreds of school children have taken advantage of the free swimming initiative that Inverclyde Leisure offer at Gourock Pool, Waterfront Leisure Complex and Port Glasgow Pool."
Admission to the pool party is free to Inverclyde school children.
