MAN Charged With Assault

A MAN has been charged with assault following an incident at flats in Gourock.
Around five police vehicles and an ambulance were called to the scene in Tower Drive late on Friday morning.
Officers were guarding two doorways and one area was taped off.
Detectives said on Saturday that a 47-year-old man had been charged with assault. They gave no further details.
