BACK To School For Greenock's Waterloo Road
THE first episode of school TV drama Waterloo Road filmed in Inverclyde will be screened later this month.
The eighth series – which is being made in Greenock and the surrounding area – starts on BBC1 on Thursday 23 August, 8 to 9pm.
The production has been based at the former Greenock Academy since April. Around a fifth of each episode is filmed on location and the crew with their convoy of white vans have become a familiar sight in the area.
