WHAT'S New In Our Gallery -- Boat On The Rocks, near Kilcreggan, 22 July 2012
The 16-foot boat MV Arron was aground on rocks at Barons Point. It had apparently broken free from its mooring and drifted ashore. As the tide was flooding, the lifeboat crew from Helensburgh were called out and managed to re-float her and, after confirming that it had sustained no damage, escorted it to James Watt Dock, Greenock, where it was secured.
