FIREFIGHTERS Clean Up At Car Wash
FIREFIGHTERS at Greenock Fire Station raised thousands of pounds at their charity car wash on Saturday.
Thanks to the generosity of the Inverclyde community, the crew exceeded all their expectations by collecting an amazing £5,365 at the annual event.
The money raised will be split amongst a number of local charities.
Over the past 15 years the station has raised £75,000 for local causes and were recently recognised for their achievements at Strathclyde Fire and Rescue’s STAR (Special Thanks And Recognition) awards.
