MEETING For Young Jobless Interested In Film School
UNEMPLOYED young people interested in working on a feature film in Inverclyde are being invited to a meeting.
RIG Arts is producing horror movie Dying Light and are running a film school for the next two months for 20 young people who want to be involved.
Participants must be 16 to 24-years-old, living in Inverclyde and not in work, education or training.
There will be a meeting for those who want to be involved at RIG’s studios at Ladyburn Business Centre tomorrow (Friday) at 1pm.
The film will be shot in September/October, but before that RIG will be running a film school with workshops in directing, script-writing, camera, sound, editing and visual effects.
The young people will then join the professional crew to shoot the film.
RIG have recieved nearly £50,000 of National Lottery funding towards the project.
