A CONCERT by The Wherries is being held in aid of Dreams Come True Inverclyde.

It will take place at Greenock Wanderers Rugby clubhouse at Fort Matilda, Greenock on Friday 20 July from 8pm until late.

Alan Lyall, who is organising the event, said: “The Wherries are a very popular act and we hope that as many people as possible will come out and support this event for Dreams Come True.

"The proceeds go towards the massive target of £50,000 we are trying to raise for this great charity as part of our Great Wall of China trek in October which in turn will make many dreams come true for children and young people aged between two and 21 who are terminally or seriously ill.”

Donation tickets, which cost £10 each, are available from Alan on 07909 685 797, by email from him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
