EVENT Will Look At Inverclyde's Past
FIND out more about the history of Inverclyde at event in Greenock later this month.
It takes place on Saturday 28 July at the McLean Museum, Kelly Street, and is being held in partnership with the BBC’s The Great British Story – A People’s History series on BBC Two.
Activities will include heritage walks, expert speakers and exhibitions plus quizzes, caricatures and treasure hunts for children.
There will be opportunities to research family history, find out the history of the Comet steamer, discover more about the Norse settlements in Inverclyde, be taken on a walking tour of the local cemetery, go on a historic bus tour of Inverclyde or just find out more about the McLean Museum and what it holds.
