COUPLE Catch Up With Friends In Canada

GREENOCK couple Fiona and Billy Thomson from Ann Street recently visited expat friends in Nothern Ontario, Canada.
They met up with former Greenockians Lillias Patterson (nee Morrison) and Irene Cianfarani (nee Gray).
Lillias is originally from Regent Street and is a former pupil of the Finnart School.
Irene is from the Newark Street area and is a former pupil of St. Columba’s School in Greenock, where she taught for a while also.
Lillias has been staying in Sturgeon Falls for quite a few years and Irene has been living in North Bay, where she teaches special needs children in St Joseph’s School. While in the area Fiona and Billy visited the son of Jean Hillier (nee McNaught), another ex-Greenockian, originally from Cumberland Road, at his home brew business in North Bay.
