DANCE Display In Aid of Dreams Come True Inverclyde
THE Aileen Gillen School of Dance 10th annual display this weekend is in aid of local charity Dreams Come True.
The display takes place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June in Boglestone Community Centre, Port Glasgow, starting at 6pm.
Aileen said: “We are very pleased to be supporting Dreams Come True this year as I know a number of friends and colleagues are trekking the Great wall of China in October to raise as much as £50,000 overall for the charity and we want to help them succeed in raising this big total for what is a very worthwhile cause. Please come along and support us and them and enjoy the display.”
Tickets, price £4 are available at the door on each evening from 5pm.
Meanwhile a special Dreams Come True cabaret evening in support of the Great Wall of China trek in October is taking place at the Police Club in Thom Street, Greenock tomorrow (Friday 22 June) from 7.30 until late. The £5 entry includes buffet. Singer Wendy Harkins will perform and there will be a raffle and also a slave auction. Tickets will be available at the door.
