ROAD Closing For Resurfacing
A BUSY Greenock road will be closed for repairs next week.
Resurfacing of Lynedoch Street, between Hope Street and Drumfrochar Road, will begin on Monday 18 June.
The alternative route will be Drumfrochar Road, Baker Street, Regent Street, Lynedoch Street to Hope Street junction and vice versa.
The work, weather permitting, is expected to be completed within five days.
Traffic management and road closure will be in place severely restricting access.
Vehicles should be clear of the works where No Waiting cones are placed by 8am on Monday 18 June. Any vehicle remaining which is obstructing the works and whose owner cannot be contacted will be removed to safe storage.
