HOUSING Approved For Old Water Station Site
A PLAN to build housing on the site of the former Larkfield water station has been approved by Inverclyde Planning Board.
The development in Weymouth Crescent will feature six three-bedroom semi-detached houses and a block of four two-bedroom flats. Each house will have two parking spaces and there will be six spaces for the flats. A covered reservoir next to the site will remain.

Eighteen objections were received raising concerns such as loss of privacy, noise and disturbance from traffic and the affect on road safety.
Roads officials were not opposed to the development and the planning department said that the development met standards for the distance from other properties.
