DIAMOND Jubilee Events Listing -- Murdieston Park Celebration Added
COWDENKNOWES Residents’ Association are holdiing a Diamond Jubilee celebration in Murdieston Park, Greenock on Saturday 2 June, from 10am.
ST Margaret’s Church, Finch Road, Greenock are holding a Diamond Jubilee Garden Party on Saturday 2 June from noon till 2pm. There will be a barbecue, refreshments and a home baking stall. Entry will be £2 for adults and £1 for children.
ST John's Episcopal Church fund-raising committee are holding a street party to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Saturday 2 June from 10am in the church yard. There will be fun stalls as well as home-baking, books, plants and tea, coffee and cakes. Tickets will cost £3 and can be paid at the door.
PORT Glasgow United Reformed Church is holding a Songs of Praise on Monday 4 June at 6pm, followed by "bring and share" refreshments, as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend celebrations. Members and friends of the congregation are being asked to nominate favourite hymns for inclusion in the service. All are welcome to attend.
