THIRTEEN Reported For Alleged Public Drinking
POLICE are reporting 13 people to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged drinking in public places in Greenock.
Various locations -- Murdieston Dam, the Waterfront and Wellpark – were involved on Tuesday evening.
Sergeant Ian Wood said: “We urge members of the public to enjoy the good weather however warn them that drinking in a public place is in contravention of local byelaws which prohibit this in Inverclyde.
“Local officers are responding to public priorities and will focus on this anti social behaviour."
