MUSEUM staff have been so overwhelmed by interest in a collection of old Greenock photos they have put them all on-line.

A slide-show of the images from the 1960s was shown on Saturday at the McLean Museum and attracted 200 people.
There are more than 400 photos, taken by photographer Eugene Mehat.
The show -- without commentary – is now playing every day at the Kelly Street museum from midday. The show with commentary from assistant curator Vincent Gillen will be repeated on Saturday 7 February at 11am.
But Vincent added: “In response to the incredible demand the McLean Museum has posted Eugen Mehat’s images of Greenock in the 1960s on the web. The museum welcomes any comments on the buildings, people and places shown in the photographs - these comments can be added on the website.”
