GREENOCK Shopping Centre Staff Allegedly AssaultedA WOMAN allegedly assaulted staff at the Oak Mall in Greenock after being challenged over stolen items.
The 37-year-old was stopped by a security guard in the shopping centre yesterday afternoon.
She allegedly pushed the guard and grabbed the hair of a cleaner.
Police officers on patrol in the town centre were alerted to the incident and apprehended the female.
She was charged with theft and assault.
