A ROUND-up of incidents handled from the Clyde Coastguard co-ordination centre in Greenock on Wedmesday 7 December

8.07am -- Clyde Coastguard tasked Ross of Mull Coastguard Rescue Team to a report of a vessel aground at the Bull Hole, Isle of Mull. The vessel, Jacky J, had broken free from her mooring the owner was contacted and is arranging to have her refloated.

9.48am -- Clyde Coastguard were informed of a vessel missing from her mooring on the west side of Mull. The vessel, Laura Dawn, was located on the island of Inch Kenneth and is thought to be a total loss.

2.02pm -- Clyde Coastguard arranged medical advice for an injured crewman on the vessel Kingdom of Fife anchored in the Clyde Estuary. The crewman did not require evacuation and was being treated on board.

4pm -- Clyde Coastguard tasked Helensburgh and Greenock Coastguard Rescue Teams to attend at an incident on the Erskine Bridge where a male was threatening to jump. The male was apprehended by Strathclyde Police before the teams arrived on scene.

4.38pm
-- Clyde Coastguard investigated a report of flares in the area close to Ailsa Craig. The source was identified as being from a warship exercising in the area.
